The drum turns without useful heat may involve airflow, heating control or temperature protection. An engineer assesses the actual appliance; a symptom alone does not identify a component.
Useful details from ordinary use
Record the selected programme and whether any warmth develops. Separate the selected programme or control setting from the result you saw or heard. Keep the exact display message if one appeared.
Find the product, safely
Use the accessible door-frame label. Record whether the dryer is vented, condenser or heat pump if you already know.
Keep ventilation clear as described in the user instructions. Sealed refrigerant work on heat-pump dryers is outside our repair scope.
