What has changed?
Lofra hob enquiries begin with observations from ordinary use. Use the guide matching what happened; these are general explanations, not manufacturer error-code tables.
Identify this Lofra appliance
Use the model from an existing manual or an accessible label. Do not lift a fitted hob or reach under electrical connections.
Separate the ovens, grill and hob when describing a cooking complaint. Range and dual-fuel formats may contain different systems; the exact fuel and model matter.
Copy the complete printed identifier, including suffixes, into your notes. Lofra styling, an approximate age or a retailer receipt alone may not identify the replacement part.
Access and fitting
Identify electric, ceramic, induction or gas. A ceramic glass surface alone does not establish the heating technology.
Tell us if the hob is inside a cupboard, raised above floor level or difficult to reach. Leave it in place. Access requirements, parts and the appropriate work are assessed individually.
What can be discussed?
Repair enquiries relate to the actual installed hob, not every product ever sold under the Lofra name. No stock, manufacturer authorisation or current product range is implied.
We do not offer gas conversions, new installations, AGA repairs, American-style or side-by-side refrigeration, compressor replacement, regassing or other sealed refrigerant work.
Your repair notes
