What has changed?
InSinkErator food-waste disposal enquiries begin with observations from ordinary use. Use the guide matching what happened; these are general explanations, not manufacturer error-code tables.
Identify this InSinkErator appliance
Use the accessible underside label only if safe. Photograph the model without reaching into the grinding chamber.
Record the complete model and switch arrangement. A replacement decision must consider the existing mounting, electrical supply and waste connections.
Copy the complete printed identifier, including suffixes, into your notes. InSinkErator styling, an approximate age or a retailer receipt alone may not identify the replacement part.
Access and fitting
Tell us whether it has a continuous-feed switch or batch-feed stopper and whether there is safe under-sink access.
Tell us if the food-waste disposal is inside a cupboard, raised above floor level or difficult to reach. Leave it in place. Access requirements, parts and the appropriate work are assessed individually.
What can be discussed?
Repair enquiries relate to the actual installed food-waste disposal, not every product ever sold under the InSinkErator name. No stock, manufacturer authorisation or current product range is implied.
We do not offer gas conversions, new installations, AGA repairs, American-style or side-by-side refrigeration, compressor replacement, regassing or other sealed refrigerant work.
